Libertex and PayPal
PayPal funding for Libertex is currently available only on the EU-regulated broker entity (CySEC). International, non-EU accounts use alternative payment methods — cards, crypto, e-wallets, and local rails. This page explains how PayPal works when it's supported, why it's restricted to the EU entity, and what to use if you fall under an international account.

How PayPal works on Libertex
Four mechanics that apply when PayPal is supported in your account. The authoritative current method list is the payment-methods screen in your account dashboard — that's what governs what's actually clickable, not this marketing-page summary.
EU broker entity only
EU accounts onlyPayPal funding is currently offered only on the EU/CySEC-regulated Libertex entity. International (non-EU) Libertex accounts do not currently support PayPal as a funding method. This is driven by PayPal's own policy on leveraged-derivatives categories combined with the broker's entity-by-entity payment-channel agreements. The payment-method screen in your account dashboard is the authoritative current list — if PayPal isn't shown there, it's not available on your entity.
Same-day deposit when supported
Same-day typicalWhen PayPal is available, it's one of the faster funding channels — typical deposit processing is same-day, often within an hour of submission. Faster than bank transfer (1–3 business days) and comparable to card deposits. PayPal does its own fraud screening on the transfer; broker adds standard verification on top.
Account-name match required
AlwaysAnti-money-laundering rules require the PayPal account name to match the Libertex account name. The broker can't accept a deposit from a third party's PayPal, even with their permission. Same goes for withdrawal — funds return to the same PayPal account that funded the deposit. This is compliance, not preference.
Withdrawal returns to source
Same-day to 24hWhere PayPal deposit is supported, PayPal withdrawal is typically also supported — and required for the portion of withdrawals representing original PayPal deposit funds. Same-day to 24 hours after broker review completes. Faster than card refunds (which can take days) or bank transfers (1–3 business days).
For international (non-EU) accounts
Funding alternatives when PayPal isn't on your entity
Six payment-method categories that fill the gap when PayPal isn't on your account's accepted list. The specific options under each category depend on jurisdiction — your account dashboard shows what's actually clickable.
- International cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- Most widely supported method globally. Same-day deposit, instant fund availability. Withdrawal back to the same card typically 3–10 business days depending on issuing bank. Some cards charge cross-border fees — check your bank's terms.
- Bank transfer
- Universal fallback. Slower (1–3 business days typical, longer for international wires). No third-party intermediary fees on the broker side, though your bank may charge for outgoing transfers. Best for larger deposits where the per-transaction efficiency outweighs the speed.
- Other e-wallets (Skrill, Neteller)
- Where supported, similar speed and convenience to PayPal. Often available in jurisdictions where PayPal isn't. Account-name match still required for compliance. Withdrawal back to same wallet.
- Crypto deposits
- Some Libertex regions accept BTC, USDT, or similar for funding. Faster than bank transfer once on-chain; slower than cards before. Crypto deposit value converts to account currency at the time of credit; price movement between send and credit is on you, not the broker.
- Regional and local methods
- Many regions have local payment options on the broker — SEPA in Europe, regional bank rails elsewhere, country-specific instant-payment systems. Check the payment-methods screen for what's offered in your jurisdiction.
- WebMoney and similar regional wallets
- Some jurisdictions support WebMoney, Yandex.Money equivalents, or local wallet apps. Same compliance rules apply (account-name match, return-to-source on withdrawal). Speed comparable to e-wallets — same-day deposit typical.
All payment methods on Libertex follow the same anti-money-laundering rules: account-name match between source and Libertex account, return-to-source on withdrawals (proportionally allocated when multiple deposit methods were used). The faster methods (cards, PayPal, e-wallets) suit smaller frequent deposits; bank transfer suits larger one-off funding.

If you're EU-eligible and want PayPal funding, the EU/CySEC entity supports it. If your account is on the international entity, fund via card, crypto stablecoin, WebMoney, or local rails — the payment-method screen in your dashboard is authoritative. Demo first if you want to test the platform before committing.
